Wiki Loves Love 2020

Hello Everyone,

Wiki Loves Love is back again in February 2020 with a theme of Folklore. As discussed in the Wiki Loves X meeting at Wikimania, Folklore has a good potential to explore local indigenous culture around the world. To join the international team or partner us for organizing this campaign, send us an email at wikiloveslove@gmail.com. We look forward to collaborate with cultural institutions and affiliates who wish to organize events or campaign at a regional level. For more queries, feel free to contact us.

Best Regards,

Ayokanmi

So exciting to see the campaign launching! FYI, @ELappen_WMF and I want to experiment with adding a calendar item for the campaign, so we can start building a campaigns calendar for the movement – just FYI, there will be another item about the campaign coming up soon on Space

That sounds like a great idea Alex! Campaigns Calender seems like a fantastic approach for keeping community informed in a centralized way about the upcoming campaigns but also for organizers who are looking for empty periods to avoid clashes between the campaigns. Thanks a lot for this much needed initiative!

Yeah, its become very obvious to me in the last month or two that the number of calls to actions right now are incredible: Wiki Loves Monuments, Wiki Loves Earths, Wiki Loves Sciences, Wiki , Wikipedia Asian Month, Project Tiger, #WikiForHumanRights, Wiki Loves Africa, #1lib1ref, AfroCine, just to name the ones that I have seen activity related to them in the last few weeks.
