Conference for Polish Wiktionary & Wikisource users, organized by Wikimedia Poland.

Hi @Wargo, how is the event going?

It would be great if you could take the opportunity of this meeting to promote Space a bit. Even if nowadays most posts are in English, we are working on the functionality to build a Space truly multilingual for everyone.

Also, you might have seen that we are pinning this topic for everyone during the celebration of Źródłosłów. We wish you a great time and very good results!

I am not taking part in this event. Maybe @tarlocesilion can share more info

I noticed link to Space is here: https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/Zrodloslow2019

Thanks

Thank you @qgil-WMF for your interest and for pinning the topic! Źródłosłów went great. I expect post-event survey results to be very good and optimistic for future.

Wikimedia Polska is watching the development of Wikimedia Space. Once in a while, I write about the platform in our Bulletin, so volunteers are likely to be aware of it. We will definitely start encouraging to use it as soon as we see in context that this is a tool to meet specific needs of our communities and focus groups. Źródłosłów is centered around a different kind of issues however. It was just about the Wiktionary and Wikisource. We put some snippets though, just like the link mentioned above.

In future, I’d gladly have a call regarding the plan for development and promotion of Wikimedia Space. We’ll keep in touch
